Break the beef into chunks, preferably small in a mixing bowl, preferably medium size.

Add ketchup, egg, onion, oatmeal, and spices.

Using a large rubber spatula or mixing spoon, mix the ingredients until well blended, for few minutes.

Smooth the mixture into a bread pan, preferably regular sized.

Place in the oven until meat is cooked through, approximately half an hour or little more.

Before serving, let the meat loaf to sit approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
